It's the most expensive and the most beautiful book I've ever owned. But it's such poor quality. I've only had it for a few months and the binding has started to come off. Now I don't open it for the fear it will fall apart

i haven't had any issues with mine. maybe you received a defective one that wasn't bound properly? you may want to contact the store you purchased it from for an exchange.

I've had mine since they sent them out. I've read through it. Looked through it many times. Let others look through it many times. I use it as a working book in my experimenting kitchen. It still looks as good as new with no binding issues. Of course I'm very careful with all of my books but faulty binding would have shown itself by now just from the amount of use.
